Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026 · Operated by Zaryn Sidhu
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Zaryn Sidhu ("the operator", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the Ad Creative Scorer tool ("the Tool") at this website. By using the Tool, you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy is designed to comply with applicable US federal and state privacy laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), as well as applicable privacy laws in other jurisdictions where users may access the Tool.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information when you use the Tool:
IDENTITY DATA
Your first name and email address, collected when you unlock your analysis report through the lead gate form. Under CCPA, this constitutes "personal information" as defined in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140.
TECHNICAL DATA
Your IP address, collected automatically for the purpose of enforcing usage rate limits (maximum 3 free analyses per 30-day rolling period). IP addresses are not used for tracking, advertising, or profiling.
CONTENT DATA
Video files you upload for analysis. These are stored temporarily and used solely to generate your creative score report. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content.
USAGE DATA
Anonymous analytics data (page views, session duration) collected via a privacy-respecting analytics service. This data does not identify you personally and is not linked to your name or email.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes only:
To provide the service: Your name and email are used to gate access to your analysis report and to associate your results with your identity.
To send product updates: With your express consent (given at the time of form submission), we may send you communications about new features, improvements, or updates to the Tool. All marketing emails comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and include a clear, functional unsubscribe mechanism. You may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by contacting us directly.
To enforce usage limits: Your IP address is used solely to apply the 3-analyses-per-month rate limit. It is not used for any other purpose.
To improve the Tool: Anonymised, aggregated usage analytics help us understand how the Tool is used. No personal data is used for this purpose.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to any third party for any purpose, including marketing or advertising. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. Your data is not shared with any social media platforms, advertising networks, data brokers, or other organisations. The only circumstances in which your information may be disclosed are: (a) where required by applicable US federal or state law, or a valid legal order; or (b) where you have given explicit prior consent. The Tool uses third-party infrastructure providers (cloud storage and AI processing APIs) solely to operate the Tool; these providers act as service providers under applicable law and are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
5. California Residents — Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for which it was collected, and whether it has been disclosed to third parties.
Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.
Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. No opt-out is required, but you may contact us to confirm this at any time.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at z@zarynsidhu.com. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days as required by law.
6. Email Communications — CAN-SPAM Compliance
Any commercial email communications sent by the operator comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq.). Specifically: all emails clearly identify the sender; subject lines accurately reflect the content of the email; the operator's physical mailing address is included in all commercial emails; all marketing emails include a clear and conspicuous opt-out mechanism; and opt-out requests are honoured within 10 business days. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by contacting us at z@zarynsidhu.com.
7. Data Retention
Your name and email address are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or until you request deletion. Uploaded video files are retained for a maximum of 90 days from the date of upload, after which they are deleted from our storage systems. IP address records used for rate limiting are retained on a rolling 30-day basis and are automatically purged thereafter. Analysis results may be retained for service improvement purposes but are not linked to your personal identity beyond your name and email.
8. Cookies & Tracking
The Tool uses a session cookie solely for the purpose of maintaining your authenticated session if you log in as an administrator. This cookie is strictly necessary for the operation of admin features and is not used for tracking or advertising. No third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site identifiers are used. The analytics service used by the Tool does not set cookies and does not track users across websites.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Uploaded video files are stored in access-controlled cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
The Tool is intended for use by marketing and advertising professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International Users
The Tool is operated from North America and is primarily intended for users in the United States. If you access the Tool from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Tool, you consent to this transfer. Users in the European Union or United Kingdom should be aware that such transfers may not have the same data protection standards as their home jurisdiction. Users in Canada should note that the operator also complies with applicable Canadian federal privacy legislation. If you have questions about cross-border data transfers, please contact us.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Tool following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
13. Contact
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or the handling of your personal data — including requests to exercise your CCPA rights — please contact the operator at z@zarynsidhu.com or via zarynsidhu.com.
